I own the Bolero Neo N10 since July 2026. It is a good car, almost perfect for the right needs. It lacks convenience features like ADAS, Carplay, and Android Auto but focuses on essentials for a budget SUV. Rear wheel drive and good reverse camera are highlights. Body roll is noticeable, making it less ideal for city commutes. Performance is strong with an agile diesel engine and comfortable seating. The major downside is the poor speaker quality.

We owned an older Bolero for 13 years with very low maintenance, crossing 2 lakh km. However, our experience with the new Bolero has been disappointing. The clutch failed at 4,500 km and had to be replaced. By 10,000 km, there was a major clutch and flywheel issue again. The response from Mahindra Service Centre Ambattur has not been reassuring, with no clear root cause identified.

It's very useful in rough and tough roads; for safety, it's very good; the average is also better than old Bolero; and the Eco Mod is very useful in A/C as well as in speed. Overall, performance is excellent
