Bits such as rear seat AC vents and type-C charging ports add to the rear seat experience.What engine and transmission options are available?The Mercedes-Benz GLA comes with two engine options: a 1.3-litre turbo-petrol and 2-litre diesel.1.3-litre turbo-petrol: This 4-cylinder engine puts out 163 PS of power and 270 Nm of torque. Drive is sent to the front wheels via a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. While this engine isn’t high on displacement, it offers good performance for city and highway use, though its performance isn’t outright exciting.2-litre diesel: The GLA’s 2-litre diesel engine puts out 190 PS of power and 400 Nm of torque and is the one to pick. It offers a strong balance between daily usability and punchy performance when you want it. Drive is sent to all four wheels and it is paired to an 8-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.How safe is the Mercedes-Benz GLA?The Mercedes-Benz GLA is a safe car, securing five stars in the Euro NCAP crash safety test. The mileage is decent; if you compare it to a normal car, it's quite low, but it's acceptable for a car of its kind. The comfort level is quite good; you'll experience a luxurious feeling. The safety features of the car are also good.
