Perfect Choice for Our Family

We use our Carens daily to drop off and pick up our children from school. Captain seats provide comfort on long journeys, and we can fit all of our luggage inside the boot. For highway driving, we find that the torque provided by the diesel engine is sufficient, although there is a slight delay when accelerating quickly with the AMT gearbox.

Practical and Comfortable MPV

Got the six-seater petrol automatic. Very easy in city driving and cruising on highways is smooth too. Space is generous, and the infotainment system is intuitive. The third row is a bit tight for tall adults but perfect for kids.

Great for Big Families

The driver's seats make a huge difference on long journeys as they're so lovely for comfort and support. The Carens rides well on rough roads with no drama and very quickly cools down with AC, no matter how hot it is outside. The Diesel Manual models have plenty of power and are also quite refined to use.

The manifold in the Kia Carens is prone to collecting sludge by 30,000 km. It's wise to clean it by 60,000 km to prevent performance issues. I've noticed a lot of sludge at 30,000 km, which has lowered the mileage.

Do not buy Carens, usually every Carens infotainment screen gives problems. 4 of my friends have this common issue with the touch screen. Replacement costs around 25000 rs, and it happened just once the warranty was over. Otherwise, the car is good.
