Its bookings have been open since early April 2024, while its deliveries will commence from May.Price:The i5 M60 xDrive is priced at 1.20 crore (ex-showroom pan India).Variants:The global-spec BMW i5 comes in single fully loaded M60 xDrive variant.Battery Pack, Electric Motors, And Range:The i5 M60 is powered by a 81.2 kWh battery pack offering a WLTP claimed range of up to 516 km. The battery pack is mated to an all-wheel-drive dual-motor setup which makes 601 PS and 795 Nm. The i5 M60 can go from 0 to 100 kmph in just 3.8 seconds.Charging:The i5 M60 can be charged using either an 11 kW AC home charger or a 22 kW AC charger.Features:The i5 electric sedan comes with a curved screen setup inclusive of a 12.3-inch digital driver’s display and a 14.9-inch touchscreen, wireless phone charging, a heads-up display, and 4-zone climate control. It also gets ventilated front seats and panoramic sunroof.Safety:The i5’s safety net includes six airbags, dynamic stability control (DSC), ISOFIX child seat anchorages, and advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) like lane change warning, rear cross-traffic alert, and rear collision prevention.Rivals:The only direct rival for the i5 will be the upcoming Mercedes-Benz EQE sedan. The i5 M60, on the other hand, also serves as an affordable alternative to theAudi e-tron GTand entry-level variants of thePorsche Taycan.
