Latest Update:Lexus has launched the fifth-generation RX SUV in India.Price:The luxury SUV is priced from Rs 95.80 lakh to Rs 1.18 crore (ex-showroom, pan-India).Variants:The Lexus RX is available in two variants: 350h and 500h F Sport Performance.Engine and Transmission:It comes with two strong hybrid petrol engine options: a 2.5-litre in-line four petrol strong hybrid powertrain making 250PS (combined) and 242Nm, and a 2.4-litre turbocharged petrol strong hybrid unit making 371PS (combined) and 460Nm. The former is paired with a CVT and can be had in both all-wheel-drive and front-wheel-drive systems, the latter comes with a six-speed automatic transmission in an all-wheel drivetrain only.The former can go from nought to 100 in 7.9 seconds, while the latter can do it in 6.2 seconds.Features:Features on board the RX include a 14-inch touchscreen infotainment with Android Auto and Apple Carplay, a heads-up display, a 21-speaker Mark Levinson sound system, heated and ventilated front seats, ventilated rear seats (except for the rear passenger) and three-zone automatic climate control.Safety:On the safety front, it gets seven airbags, ABS with EBD, vehicle stability control (VSC), tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), and advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) like lane keep assist and departure warning, blind-spot monitoring, autonomous emergency braking and adaptive cruise control.Rivals:The Lexus RS squares off against theMercedes-Benz GLE,BMW X5,Audi Q7andLand Rover Discovery.
