MGCP is worst for customer service as the SM of the showroom and the customer reps are least bothered about the reviews or feedbacks. Their concern towards customer issues is negligible. When the entire team works in a lazy unconcerned way that is only because the team heads are of a certain sub standard working ethics. Should be avoided.

Booked the MG Hector Plus on 1st February after their executive PERSONALLY assured me that delivery within 7-10 days is absolutely doable. I had clearly told them upfront that I need the car by 25th-26th February — and they said no problem at all. Fast forward to delivery week — I called to follow up (because obviously they weren't going to call me), and Mr. Rohit casually tells me delivery is not possible. No prior intimation, no courtesy call, nothing. I had to chase them to get this information. Raised the issue on their WhatsApp group thinking someone would atleast acknowledge it — 2 days gone, not a single response. Complete silence. These people will say anything to get your booking amount and then just disappear. Zero accountability, zero follow-up, zero professionalism. Should have read the reviews before booking honestly

Had booked mg hector plus. Was promised that it'll be delivered in a week's time. Before the car even came Mr. Ravi asked for 50% of the payment. When we denied it before pdi, he abruptly cut the call and now has stopped picking up the calls. Infact we came to know through other sales person that the car won't be available till end of Feb and Mr. Ravi is delaying it intentionally. Poor service and poor customer service. We have requested to cancel the booking but no update till now.

I had a very disappointing experience at this MG showroom. The staff did not attend customers properly and showed a complete lack of interest in helping. When asked basic questions about the car’s features and variants, they were unable to provide clear or accurate information. It was evident that they did not have sufficient product knowledge or willingness to assist customers seriously. A car showroom is expected to prioritize customer service and provide proper guidance, but unfortunately, this was not the case here. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and trains their staff to be more attentive, knowledgeable, and customer-friendly

There’s a complete lack of transparency at the MG workshop—it genuinely feels like their priority is to drain the pockets of their customers rather than provide fair service. I requested a routine service and was assisted by a representative named Muskan, who quoted me approximately ₹18,000. Is it reasonable to expect middle-class Indian consumers to afford such steep service costs? Upon reviewing the invoice, I found that the actual service parts amounted to just ₹5,000, while the remaining ₹13,000 was purely labor charges. Moreover, several unnecessary services were added without my consent, seemingly to boost sales rather than serve the customer’s actual needs. Had I not scrutinized the invoice, I would have incurred a significant financial loss. Next time, I’m seriously considering getting my car serviced outside, where I can expect similar results for under ₹6,000. Additionally, I had raised a concern about the gear, and my car was kept at the workshop for over a week. When I got it back, the clutch wasn’t functioning properly. I reported this immediately and was told I’d receive a follow-up call within two days—but no one ever contacted me. They didn’t even bother to check on the issue. Just a few days later, the clutch completely failed. What’s baffling is that there were no warning signs—no stiffness or resistance, which usually precedes clutch failure. The only issue I noticed after service was that the clutch wasn’t returning to its original position. Within a week, the clutch was gone. Now I’m being asked to pay ₹35,000 for a replacement, after driving just 30,000 km in 1.6 years. Is this what MG considers acceptable for Indian middle-class consumers? In just 1.5 years, I’ve spent over ₹70,000 on maintenance alone. This has been the worst ownership experience I’ve ever had. Based on this, I would strongly advise others against buying MG vehicles in India. The brand seems more focused on maximizing profits than delivering reliable service or customer care. HR 87 P 5800

I had the worst experience with MG. They have a pathetic after sales service. I was handed over a car that didn’t connect phone calls on air play. With the promise that they will immediately fix it. Now it’s 4th month running and I’m still chasing them. Despite of multiple calls the issue is not fixed. The mileage promised was very different than what I’m getting which is 6.5. I was told the engine is changed in new MG. I don’t suggest anyone to go for MG. You will be tired chasing nd they will it respond. In 4 months I’m thinking to sell this off.
