In an era where automobile manufacturers and dealerships invest heavily in creating memorable customer experiences, this showroom appears to be operating by an entirely different philosophy. From the moment you walk in, the lack of professionalism and customer focus is difficult to ignore.
Rather than creating a welcoming environment, many employees seem disengaged and indifferent to customers. Staff members often appear more occupied with internal conversations than assisting visitors, while others project an attitude that suggests customer service is more of an inconvenience than a responsibility. For a dealership representing one of India's most prominent automotive brands, the contrast between the brand's reputation and the showroom's conduct is striking.
The delivery experience is where the shortcomings become impossible to overlook. Purchasing a new vehicle is a significant milestone for most customers, yet the dealership makes little to no effort to acknowledge the occasion. There is no sense of excitement, personalization, or appreciation for the customer's investment. The process feels rushed, mechanical, and completely devoid of the attention one would reasonably expect when taking delivery of a new car.
Equally disappointing is the dealership's complete disregard for product presentation. There are virtually no displays, brochures, photographs, or videos showcasing the available accessories and add-ons. Even obtaining basic information about optional equipment or vehicle features feels unnecessarily difficult. Customers are expected to make purchasing decisions without being given the tools to evaluate what they're buying. For a modern automotive showroom, this is not just unprofessional—it reflects a surprising lack of preparation and customer focus.
What is most disappointing is that this is not a matter of extravagant expectations. Basic professionalism, courtesy, and a customer-centric approach should be standard. Unfortunately, this showroom falls short on all three counts.
Mahindra builds vehicles that many customers are proud to own. It is unfortunate that the delivery experience at this dealership does not reflect the same standards. Prospective buyers may want to carefully consider alternative dealerships that place greater value on professionalism, customer engagement, and making an important purchase feel like the special occasion it should be.
